Meet the next poet competing in the fiercest poetry slam on the South Coast! Please welcome the amazing Charlotte Robyn Faulconbridge!

Charlotte writes poetry from the heart about the brain. She is an autistic and chronically ill prize-winning writer, No.1 Amazon bestselling author, musician and TEDx speaker.

Born mute due to birth complications, she relied on sign language for communication until she was able to speak. Charlotte now advocates for disabled creatives through her poetry and often performs her work in BSL.


She is an ambassador for the mental health charity MIND and was a finalist in the BBC Make A Difference Awards last year.

'Slam at The Emporium' takes place on Thursday 20th February at The Emporium Bar Southsea. Show starts at 7.30pm.
